Davey Muise Transforms From Hardcore Vocalist To The "King of Feeling Everything"

When you hear the name Davey Muise, it is likely that your mind automatically associates him with his role as the lead vocalist of the hardcore band Vanna. Scratch away everything you think you know about Muise because his most recent project shows him blossoming into a solo artist with a new side of him that we have never seen.

Muise's career is multifaceted; he is speaking at school assemblies across the country to inspire young kids and he is working on releasing more of his emotional, ambient music.

"It's more of the softer side of things. They lyrics and stuff, the message, the passion, and everything is always the same with me. I just get to deliver this is a little bit of a different way," said Muise.

After sitting down with Muise, it is clear that this project has sparked a new sense of passion and creative excitement for him. He is breaking away from hardcore music to find new inspirations after existing within the same genre for 13 years. He compares his dark pop tracks to artists like The Neighborhood, which is a far cry from anything we've heard from him before.

"Vanna ended when I was like thirty-two and I was like 'I am thirty-two and I've been playing metalcore for thirteen years,' which is awesome but there is so much more to what I want to do," said Muise.

Regardless of the sonic differences, the message with Muise has always remained the same. He understands the unifying power of music and embraces it as a platform to authentically spark happiness everywhere he goes.

He works closely with the nonprofit organization Hope For The Day and encourages his fans to seek help when they are hurting. In addition to promoting beneficial organizations, he speaks in schools to share his journey and hardships to inspire kids to be fragile with each other. He talks the talk and walks the walk.

"I just want people to realize that if they want to find success, success is just happiness. If you want to find your happiness, you need to chase the things that you want to do. If I didn't get in the van when I was nineteen years old with no money going around the country not knowing what I was doing, I wouldn't be here," said Muise.

Muise isn't stopping with his first two singles. He has plans to release a new EP by the summer time. Stay tuned and follow him here: https://twitter.com/DaveyMuise
