Juliet Simms Talks "Bad Love," The Rockstar Disrupt Tour, and Signing to Sumerian Records

I have a soft spot for Juliet Simms because we go WAY back.

The first time I interviewed her was during her stint on Warped Tour in her first band Automatic Loveletter. She donned feather accessories and face paint while she strummed her guitar on one of the smaller stages.

Flash forward to 2012 and she found her way on The Voice where the trajectory of her career changed for the best. She went solo and started releasing the music she was destined to create. It's soulful rock 'n roll driven by Juliet's powerful, raspy, unmistakable voice. She can knock your socks off whether she's playing with a full rock band or as a stripped down acoustic artist. Juliet's diversity allows us to see difference facets of her artistry, which is something I've always admired about her.

Her latest single "Bad Love" marks her debut with Sumerian Records, which she describes as a dream-like pairing. It was released in June as she geared up for a run on the inaugural Rockstar Disrupt Festival. Rather than explaining it to you, I'll let Juliet do the honors. Check out our interview below!
