Killswitch Engage Discusses The Tumultuous Recording Process Behind Their New Album

Killswitch Engage battled through vocal cord surgeries, social media hiatuses, and other dramatic ups and downs that eventually led to the creation of their latest album, due in Fall 2019.

"We've been working on it for like a year and a half. We had a couple woes with our singer, he had throat surgery and all that good stuff. That kinda put a wrench in the gears for a little bit but it's finally finished and it's off at the pressing plants now. We are hoping for Fall," said Killswitch Engage lead guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz.

Although the nitty gritty details remain mysterious, fans are already highly anticipating new material from the staple metalcore band. They are gearing up for the next album cycle and performing a new song on their next tour, according to Dutkiewicz.

Rather than trying to one-up themselves, Killswitch Engage strives to make the best possible music that their fans are going to enjoy. After nearly 20 years of success, Dutkiewicz believes that their fans are the only secret behind their longevity; they keep coming back for more and wholeheartedly supporting their music.
