If you've ever seen Sharptooth live before, then you know that they are notorious for being a band with a very strong and obvious mission statement. They are a voice for minorities that are fighting for equality and representation for everyone regardless of gender, sexuality, etc.
The band is bringing hardcore music to a completely new audience on their current tour with pop punk aficionados, As It Is. I had the opportunity to sit down with the band during their stop in Orlando, FL and we had an interesting conversation about their approach to combining music and activism, their ideas for creating inclusive safe spaces at concerts, and how they hope their listeners will take action in their own communities. Check it out below!
